Hypnosis Reading Test



Your mind is more powerful than you may have ever realized. The above test is a great example of how your mind uses past learning to interpret an experience you are having in the moment. This example being your ability to read, what should be unreadable, due to the fact that you learned these words in the past.

Can we find a connection to this when we are seeking ways to improve our living experience? I believe so. At times in our lives, we learn certain behaviors, that at the time, benefit us in one way or another. As time passes, we find that some of these behaviors no longer benefit us. Sometimes we are able to very easily change the behavior, but other times we get stuck in the behavior. Much like you were able to read the above based on what you have learned, these unwanted behaviors continue to replay themselves automatically.

So, what do we do when this happens? One very effective way is to enter a state of re-learning through hypnosis. I have always viewed hypnosis as a focused state of learning. Every challenge we have, whether it be fear of situations or an unwanted habit, was learned at some point in our past. I understand that sometimes it seems as if these behaviors come suddenly from no where, but this is usually due to a continual confirming of something learned in the past until it becomes realized.

Imagine then, entering a state of hypnosis, a state of re-learning, where you can gain new perspectives and understandings to transform these unwanted behaviors. Scientifically, when you learn something new, your brain begins to create new neural pathways which trigger new behavior. Its like re-programming your mind to create the behaviors that you want. The instant you accept new learning, in the subconscious level of the mind, these new behaviors will become automatic and just as easily acted upon as it was for you to read the above test.

Tips for Better Health


Short of a physical accident, most of physical ailments are a result of short or long-term unhealthy lifestyle - the primary cause being a lack of peace of mind. Worry, stress, fear, anger, feelings of dissatisfaction and inadequacy release poisons into the bloodstream, block the flow of energy, lower the immune system, and eventually result in some form of physical ailment. And even though physical dis-ease is often a result of mental dis-ease, each person is capable of restoring balance, peace and optimal health, eradicating even congenital problems.

Permanent good health is a result of a healthy and balanced life-style. Even though a medical professional may prescribe medicine to alleviate the symptoms, unless a person commits to a healthy and balanced life-style, sooner or later the imbalance will express through the body.

Create a balanced life-style

Decide what is important for you in your life and organize your schedule so that you have enough time to cultivate different areas of your life. Do something each day that will energize your body, something that will stimulate your mind, something that will open your heart and something that will deepen your connection to the spirit within you.

Live With Integrity

Be true to yourself and do your best in whatever you undertake to accomplish. That way you'll be at peace with yourself and with your life.

Forgive Yourself and Others

No one is perfect and each one of us has lessons to learn. If you keep on doing your best, then whatever mistakes you make you can learn from them and next time try another way of doing things. As for others, if they're not your cup of tea, let them go (they'll learn whatever they need to learn when they're ready) and move on. There is no point in dragging the burdens from the past. Release them from your life and open yourself to new experiences.

Engage in Some Form of Physical Exercise

Engaging in physical exercise will help you move the energy in your body. There are plenty of physical activities, so find something that you'd enjoy doing whether it's weight-lifting, swimming, biking, dancing, martial arts, yoga, chi-kung, tai chi, or whatever else may appeal to you.

Eat a Balanced Diet

Different people have different nutritional needs and preferences, and what may be perfect for one person may not be perfect for another, so listen to your body and notice what kind of food is making you feel more alive and energized. You may choose to fast once in a while to detoxify your body. You may also supplement your diet with vitamins and herbal supplements.

Spend Each Day Some Time in Peaceful Meditation

Establish a good relationship with that all-knowing, all-loving, all-powerful part of you that is in a state of constant peace.

How I lost weight - 30 lbs - and you can too

As I mentioned in the previous blog, the first two things people learn in a hypnosis training is how to help others to lose weight and stop smoking. While I have attended those training I didn't really care less about either - I didn't have any "weight" problem then, but somehow over the years I have started to pile pounds at first slowly and then faster and faster. I have begun to believe that losing weight and getting down to the weight I had as a teenager and throughout most of my life was an impossible dream because initially any attempt to shed some extra pounds didn't prove all that successful for me. I wasn't on any temporary diets, nor did I attempt to lose weight, since I have already accepted that it would be impossible for me - but as I changed my lifestyle, the impossible dream came true. At the time I made this video with techniques that have worked for me, I have dropped 25 lbs, and over the next few months I have dropped 5 more lbs and now I am delighted to say that I do weigh as much as I weighed when I was a teenager - about 111 lbs.

How I Stopped Smoking and You Can Too

The first things anyone who attends hypnosis training learns is how to help others to quit smoking and to lose weight and sometimes that is easier said than done, and just because hypnotists learn how to help others, doesn't mean that they are not having a challenge themselves with those same issues. Now, I believe that hypnotists who have managed to first create change in themselves before trying to assist others are in better position to help because they have not only theoretical knowledge, but a very practical understanding - a personal experience related to encountering and overcoming all sorts of inner obstacles.

In this video, I have shared my path and while quitting smoking was easy - I've done it so many times over the years - stopping smoking for good was something quite different, something that at one time in my life I considered close to impossible in spite of countless successes I had with using hypnosis and NLP techniques on myself and others. Sometimes when we plant seeds of desire in our subconscious minds, it takes a while for them to sprout and take form, and even when it seems that nothing is happening and that the situation may be hopeless, our subconscious is working in the background and paving the way, and eventually we get to experience what may feel like a miracle. And for me, the way I lost desire to smoke altogether some years ago, felt and to this day feels exactly like a miracle. here's my story:

Clear Negative Voices

After the last newsletter on Clearing negative influences that adversely affect your prosperity, several people have emailed me and asked how to clear negative voices. The origin of these voices may be that someone told them something disempowering, when they felt vulnerable and now these words keep on replaying in their minds and preventing them from pursuing their goals.

Sometimes people clearly remember incidents during which these negative voices became imprinted and sometimes the origin of these voices is unknown. The negative voices may sound as if they belong to someone else or as if the words are spoken by the person who is hearing them.

The negative voices may be statements or questions like: "Who are you kidding?" or "You can't do that" or "You'll fail" or "What if you fail?' or "You are not good enough" or "You'll never make it", "This will never work", and anything else along the similar lines.

Sometimes these negative voices are accompanied by images of possible disasters and anything that may go wrong, and they give rise to the feelings of uncertainty, fear, anxiety, and taking no action seems like a safer, but not more satisfying choice. The issues that pop up may be fear of competition, jealousy, fear of rejection, natural disasters, or simply the possibility of bad luck.

Sometimes the origin of the negative voices may be unrealistic expectations, where a person may have attempted to do something once or twice, without even knowing how to do something properly, didn't get satisfactory results and then gave up concluding that if whatever it was didn't work instantly then there's no hope.

Here it may be appropriate to remember the Serenity Prayer:

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.

The techniques that follow are designed to help you to change those things that you can change.
You can change the way those negative voices sound, you can change what they are saying, or you can transcend them.

To change the way those negative voices sound, you can change the pitch of the voice and make it sound very high, or very low, or like a voice you may hear in a cartoon. You can change the speed in which those words are spoken, so that it may sound as if an audio tape played at high speed, or you can lower the speed and make the words spoken so slow that they are practically indiscernible. You can have some funny circus music playing in the background or you can have the words come out garbled or muffled. As you experiment with changing the voice, you should notice how its impact upon you changes. You can imagine that the voice is played on a tape deck and you can simply push the stop button to stop it. You can imagine the voice moving further and further away in the distance and disappearing or you can blow it up and imagine those disempowering words exploding.

If there are any threatening images that accompany those negative voices, you can do similar things with those images, as you did with the voice. You can imagine them shrinking, or you can imagine color draining out of them and if they were paintings; you can imagine rain falling upon the painting and all the colors melting and washing away until all that is left is a blank canvas. You can imagine the image blowing up or burning it in a fire.

If you are up to it, you can take a piece of paper, pour out your hear and write down those disempowering statements that are haunting you and then burn the paper. As you watch the paper burning, imagine all those disempowering statements burning up also. Even when the paper has burned you may remain beside the fire and imagine any residue of negative energies within you burning up. When you are done, you should have some sense of completition and of lightness.

If you remember a particular event, when you first experienced those negative voices, you can mentally transform that event and the imprint that it left upon you. You can replay the event in your mind, as if you've had the resources to handle it appropriately in a way that would've left you feeling empowered.

If you are spiritually inclined and you like to meditate, you may observe those negative voices with a sense of emotional detachment. The words have no power of their own. They have no meaning except whatever meaning you attach to them. You may notice that when you resist some ideas, they tend to become stronger, just the same as when you try to reinforce them. When you resist the idea, you are feeding it with your energy, just the same as if you wanted to reinforce it. If you remain emotional detached and stop feeding ideas with your energy, they will dissolve of their own accord. If you just witness your thoughts, without becoming emotionally entangled, they will have no power over you - they will just come and go, and eventually, they'll dissolve.

Another technique, similar to the one last one is to simply accept whatever thought or negative voice emerges in your mind. Again, if you just accept it and you don't fight it, the negative sting will ultimately dissolve. When you accept everything, you stop judging it as good or bad - you acknowledge that it just "is" or that the thought is meaningless in itself and your response to it may be "so what?" You don't identify with the negative voices so they don't have any effect on you.

Different techniques may be suitable for different people and the way you'll know that you have found one that is suitable for you is that you will feel a change within you, an inner transformation, more or less instantly.

Turn your life around with convincers

Nothing is as convincing as your own personal experience. That's why before a hypnotist begins working on any change, he performs suggestibility tests, and may even elicit few hypnotic phenomena during the session, which act as convincers. You will never get as convinced that something is possible for you just by reading about someone else's experience, as you will by having the experience yourself.

Whenever you hear or read that someone has accomplished something that you would like to accomplish, you automatically go within and search your memory for any information you have gathered throughout your life, for any experience you have ever had, and based on the information you are aware of, you conclude whether such a thing is possible at all, and more importantly, whether you have what it takes to do it.

Suggestibility tests and convincers in hypnosis are structured in a way that gives you an opportunity to explore the power of your imagination. When you are in hypnosis, you give precedence to your inner world, to the world of your imagination, so if I were to ask you to close your eyes and pretend that you cannot open them, you have a choice. If you choose to rely on the reasoning faculty of your mind, you know that you are fully capable of opening your eyes and you are free to open your eyes at any time you like. However, if you choose to experience a trance state, you allow yourself to play the game of pretending, you pretend that you cannot open your eyes and if you let yourself have fun exploring the realm of your imagination, you will discover that you cannot open your eyes. Then you will know that you are in hypnosis. Trying to open your eyes and discovering that you cannot because you have chosen to play with your imagination, is an example of a convincer that tells you - you are in an optimal state of mind for creating changes in your life through hypnosis.

You can use convincers in your daily life to enter into optimal states of mind where you can accomplish your desired goals faster. Whatever it is that you desire to accomplish in life, it begins in your mind. Changing your life around becomes much easier when you are in a state of mind in which you know that you can do what it takes because your own experience tells you so.

Whatever it is that you desire to accomplish, you can recall a time when you have accomplished if not exactly the same thing, something similar to it, in your past. Hypnosis is like a magnifying glass. Whatever you focus your attention upon, becomes magnified in your experience and it overrides, for a while, your awareness of any other experience.

At any moment in time you can focus on what you know or on what you don't know, on what you can do or on what you cannot do, on the skills and abilities you have already mastered, or on those you know nothing about. Whatever you focus upon will influence your state of mind and your ability to overcome new challenges. You can decide whether it will be hard or easy, whether you will enjoy the process or couldn't wait to get it over with. You can get into any state of mind you choose because you have already experienced doing things in a way that feels natural for you, easy for you, or practically impossible, and you already have lots of experiences where you just couldn't wait to get over with something and others where you have thoroughly enjoyed the process. You can transfer your states of mind from one experience to another, from one area of your life to another.

If you want to dance and you never danced before, you can begin by acknowledging that you can walk, you can use your legs in ways that you have learned how to use them so far. Then you practice easy steps, and you keep on building upon what you have learned until you can perform as well as you desire. In the beginning you may feel as if you have two left feet, but if that is what you choose to focus upon, you will be in a state of mind where learning will be challenging to the point that you may discouraged, frustrated, conclude that you have no talent for dancing and perhaps even give up. You also have a choice to pretend that you were a born dancer, to enjoy the learning process, to feel grateful for any progress you make, to feel good about yourself for the effort you invested in learning something new, and to find it easy to make some progress each day.

If you want to change your financial situation, you have the power to focus on what you have and on what you can do now to change your situation or you can focus upon what you don't have and everything else that may seem to work against you. You can always do something constructive to improve any condition in your life. Whatever you choose to focus upon, you will use as a convincer to determine your next step and your future experience.

If you want to create changes in your body with your mind - either for healing or esthetic purposes - you may begin by acknowledging that some intelligent force has been taking care of your body throughout the years and that your body is constantly undergoing some changes. New cells are constantly replacing the old ones, according to the blueprint in your subconscious mind, in your energy field, in your DNA. And even if this entire process has been unfolding out of your conscious awareness, you can choose to participate and actively influence how will the cells of your body keep on renewing. You can learn how to establish a rapport with your subconscious mind, you can do all sorts of fun experiments that will provide you with a rapid feedback letting you know that what you are doing is working, and you can use your experience as a convincer and a spring board to easily create the changes you desire. If you just try to work on changing your body, merely wishing that you can do it, but without any verifiable experience of your own, you may be constantly plagued with doubts, wondering if you are just deluding yourself and wasting your time, or whether you are truly creating any changes. When you have doubts, you are essentially programming your subconscious with the opposite of what you desire - that is why having your own convincing experiences is important in helping you to create rapid changes.

To help you overcome new challenges you face in your life, you can take a piece of paper and write down all of your past successes and all the reasons why you know that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. Write down all the skills and resources that you have or are willing to develop; all the actions you are willing to take. That way, when you determination, your faith, your conviction, your endurance get challenged, you will have something to hold onto, something to carry you over the rough spots, because you will have a long list of convincers ready to tell you that you've got what it takes to make it.

How to communicate with your subconscious mind through your body

One of the ways in which we can communicate with our subconscious minds is through our bodies.

Perhaps you can recall a time when you walked into some place for the very first time and without knowing anything consciously about the place, the place felt just right for you, you felt "good vibes", or you felt at odds with the place, you felt "bad vibes" and the only thing on your mind was getting out of there as fast as possible. Even though you consciously you couldn't put your finger on what exactly felt right or wrong, your body communicated what you sensed in some way. When you found yourself in a place with "good vibes", perhaps you felt you could breathe deeper, or you felt more relaxed or open; whereas when you found yourself yourself in a place with "bad vibes", perhaps your breathing became more shallow, and you felt constricted in some way, maybe you felt tightening in your guts, in your solar plexus. And you may recall having the same experiences with people - when you felt comfortable with them, you unconsciously inclined your body toward them, and when you felt in some way repelled, you unconsciously pulled back. These were just some of the ways in which your subconscious was giving "yes - this is appropriate for you" or "go ahead" and "no - this is not beneficial for you", "better stay away" - signals.

In hypnosis, when a hypnotist desires to get a response directly from a person's subconscious, he may set up a communication system through the person's fingers. This is referred to as "ideomotor response" or "ideomotor signaling". For this purpose, a hypnotist would designate one finger to represent a "yes" answer, another finger to represent a "no" answer, and he may designate yet another finger to represent "I don't know" or "I don't want to answer".

You can establish this system of communication with your subconscious by yourself also. The first step is to programming your body with signals that will represent "yes" and "no" responses, and if you like "I don't know" or "I don't want to answer". To program a finger with a "yes" answer, you can choose a finger, perhaps an index finger, and simply lift the index finger up several times while repeating, silently or aloud "yes". You can then choose another finger, perhaps a small finger, lift it up several times while repeating silently or aloud "no". You can likewise program another finger with "I don't know" or "I don't want to answer".

Once you have programmed your fingers, you can ask questions to which you can get an immediate feedback, questions to which you can verify the answers.

Based on your inclinations and preferences, you may program different responses through different parts of your body. You may program your fingers or hands to create gestures or produce different sensations e.g. sensation of warmth, coolness, tingling sensation, etc. You can program your entire body to slightly bend forward as a "yes" response, or to bend slightly backward as a "no" response.

Besides programming your body just with "yes", "no" or "I don't know answers, you can instruct your body to take you to a desired location. If you have misplaced something, you can instruct your body - your legs, if you like - to take you where what you're looking for is. I have used this method successfully both to find things that I have misplaced, as well as to find things in other people's places which they have misplaced. Our minds are all interconnected and our bodies are in a way extensions of our minds. I would simply instruct my body to take me to wherever the misplaced object is.

All of the above are forms of what is also called "body dowsing (BD)" or "deviceless dowsing (DD)". Some people find it easier to get the information from their subconscious minds through movements of the body, while others find it easier to first work with devices like pendulums, L-rods, or bobbers. Whatever method you choose, becoming proficient will most likely require a certain amount of practice. When learning how to work with your subconscious mind, you will make the fastest progress if you work on questions where you can get an immediate feedback. Through feedback, you will become more aware of when the answers you are getting are genuinely coming from your subconscious mind and when they are coming from your conscious mind, from what is called "an analytic overlay" (AOL). The answers coming directly from your subconscious will have a different feeling to them than those coming from your conscious mind. One of the easiest ways for getting analytic overlay out of the way is by asking a question and then getting into an open state of mind where instead of asking if this or that is the right answer, you are simply focused on the question "I wonder what is the answer?"

You can use dowsing to help you make the most beneficial choices in any area of your life. People have used dowsing for all sorts of things: to look for water, mines, and hidden treasures; to choose the most suitable person for a relationship, to choose suitable business partners, to choose suitable doctors, dentists, restaurants, to select the best company to work for, to selecting the best investments, to find best car dealership, to choose the most appropriate car, to get parking spots, to select best nutrition, to correct health imbalances, to clear emotional issues, to pick the best place for vacation, to find lost pets, and the list goes on. You can think of many ways in which you can use the information available from your subconscious mind to help you live your life in an easier, more comfortable and more fulfilling way.

Become Lucky

Luck is a state of mind. People who are lucky, people who think of themselves as lucky tend to think and behave in different ways than those who think of themselves as unlucky.

Our thinking and acting may cause us to experience serendipitous events in some areas of our lives and to experience seeming obstacles in other areas. Changing the way we think may change our experience instantly.

For example, many years ago, a friend used to take me to play Bingo. During the first two years I played I won absolutely nothing. I believed that it was not part of my destiny to win anything playing games of chance. I didn't expect to win anything and I didn't win anything.

Then one day, the Law of gratitude crossed my mind, and just for the sake of experiment I began expressing gratitude - in advance - for winning a specific game at Bingo that evening. For about an hour that afternoon I kept on subjectively experiencing myself winning a specific game on a green card at Bingo and feeling gratitude for the winnings. I went to Bingo that evening, and I won exactly the game for which I was expressing gratitude. From that day onward I kept on winning consistently.

One day I needed $200, so I went to Bingo. A friend of mine dropped by in the middle of the game which paid $200. He knew that I didn't have any money to throw away, and he made fun of me and laughed at the idea that I came to Bingo to get $200 that I needed. Several numbers later, as all the numbers I needed came, I raised my card and yelled "Bingo!" - I just won $200 I needed. My friend was speechless. I smiled and said "Mind over matter!"

Later on I won jackpots at Bingo and playing slot machines, again giving thanks in advance for the winnings. While I don't believe in gambling as a strategy for creating financial wealth, I do consider playing games of chance as a fun way of conducting mind over matter experiments. If you play with money, play only with the money you can afford to lose even if you are 100% sure that you are going to win, or better yet, practice first playing games with fun money, until you develop some proficiency in directing the outcome of the game with your mind.

If you play games of chance, one of the things you may learn rather fast is the necessity of letting go, of detaching from the outcome. People often ask me how can you have a desire for something and detach from it at the same time. You do that by shifting into a state of an observer, as if you were observing a miracle that is being done through you, rather than you doing it yourself, of if you will, rather than you doing anything consciously.

Here is an example from the time I dealt a game of roulette at a casino. A player put me in the game by giving me a $25 chip. I could put it on any number, and what I win would be my tip. I picked number "8" - it was as good as any other number. My task was to spin the ball so it lands on number 8. That was beyond what I was able to do consciously, so I called upon that power and intelligence that expresses through my body, through roulette wheel, through roulette ball and everything else. You may call it unconscious, subconscious, Greater Self, God or whatever you like. I had merely silently expressed my intent, that the ball lands in slot with number 8, and then I surrendered my hand to this Greater Self, and spun the ball from the state of mind of an observer rather than a do-er. The ball landed exactly on number 8 and I got a tip of $900.

All instant manifestation of anything involves exactly the same process of expressing an intent and then surrendering yourself, letting go and detaching yourself from the outcome by shifting into an observer state of mind. Instead of doing anything consciously, you simply watch the miracle happen, you let your unconscious, subconscious, your Greater Self, God, or whatever you like to call it, do its thing.

When you are in a do-er state of mind, you experience some tension in your body, maybe the greatest tension is felt somewhere in the area of solar plexus. When you shift into an observer state, you experience peace and relaxation. When you are tense, you block the energy from manifesting, when you are relaxed you let it flow and you allow the desired outcome to happen.

This observer state of mind is also an ideal state to be in between your self-hypnosis sessions, when you are done stating your intent in some way, usually by subjectively experiencing your desired outcome. It is like a state of joyful expectation, a state of openness, a state of allowing.

You could say that people who consider themselves lucky tend to look for signs that affirm the manifestation of their desired outcomes, while those who consider themselves unlucky tend to look for signs that affirm that what they desire is not there yet and may never even happen.

If you walk through life with the belief that "something good comes out of everything", you'll always discover something good in every situation, something you can rejoice in and feel grateful for. These feelings by themselves raise your energy level, your vibration, align you, harmonize you with all power and what you desire to experience begins to happen spontaneously and effortlessly.

A couple of women here in Toronto won $1 million dollars on instant lottery tickets which they purchased during a shopping spree before their weddings. The forthcoming weddings put them into a state of mind of joyful expectation, into a state of mind where they were in love with life and everything felt wonderful and perfect and the lottery winnings manifested as natural expression of this inner joy.

If you pay attention to what happens in your life when you feel in love with anything, when you feel happy and blissful, you may notice that you are at such times in greater harmony with everything and good things happen spontaneously and effortlessly because you are allowing life to flow through your being.

Many years ago, a young man who reminded me of one of my spiritual teachers, invited me to go with him to a racetrack where the horse he was training and which was to race the next day, was staying. I've never been at a racetrack before, so I was curious. When we got there, the young man left me alone with the horse for a few moments, and as I gazed into the eyes of that horse, I suddenly felt my body and the horse's body dissolving, horse and I merging into one and expending all across the universe - as one, pure, formless spirit. The experience was out of this world and so overwhelming that tears came to my eyes. The boy and the horse, who were staying at this racetrack only for one race, left the city, but I kept going back to the racetrack, hoping to have that otherworldly experience again, hoping to again experience myself free of all boundaries.

At first when I went to the racetrack, I didn't bet on any horses. I merely went there, every day, just to practice experiencing that state of oneness with the horses. While I haven't experienced exactly that otherworldly experience I desired, I felt love for everything on that racetrack and all the smells, sounds and sights of the racetrack triggered a sense of delight in me.

I soon discovered that in this state of oneness with the horses, picking winning horses was effortless. Since I had no intention to bet, and no self-interest was involved, there were no obstacles to the free flow of energy and information. I was simply basking in the feeling of love. Sometimes before a particular race I would hear a song in my mind that contained the name of a horse that would win in the forthcoming race. For example, a song about a girl named Cinnamon would play in my mind before a race in which a horse named Cinnamon Toasted won.

If you practice increasing the feeling of love within you, you will notice that your intuition as well as your luck will increase. Through love you get in tune with everything, you step in harmony with everything. It doesn't matter what it is that you love, as long as you let this love flow freely, rather than offering it as a trade-off for something else. The latter is no longer love, it's bargaining. The difference is that when you let love flow through you freely just for the sake of love, the energy flows freely through you, you remain in an open, receptive state. When you are offering love so that you can get something back, your energy tenses up and you begin to close down, to cut yourself off from the wellspring of good fortune. The more open you are, the more blessings, abundance, good fortune you allow into your experience of life. The more open you are, the more expanded you become and the more things you embrace into your life.

You can pick as an object of love anything you feel you can love totally and completely - whether it is the Infinite Spirit as Divine Light, by whatever name you may want to call it, or it is some individual, or an object. It should be something that you can love just for the sake of feeling love in your being and expressing it, not because you want something in return. You can pick something that when you look at it, you simply feel so good all over, you feel happy and love naturally and effortlessly flows through you. When you direct your love toward such individual or an object, or even an abstract idea, that individual or object becomes a doorway to the infinite for you. Through love you align yourself with the infinite, because the essence of the infinite is love.

The Infinite Spirit, the Divine Light is contained in every speck of creation - beginning with yourself and in everything that is visible and invisible, including in all things and circumstances where you'd like to experience more luck.

In some cultures and traditions, people put statues or pictures of different spiritual beings and direct their love toward the infinite thorough those images or objects. If you recognize this Divine Light in yourself, you may as well use your own picture and love the Infinite through your own image. It is not the material image that you love, but rather the Infinite that expresses through it. People may choose pictures of saints, angels and other highly evolved spiritual beings because it is much easier being aware of the Infinite in something which already expresses pure love, rather than in something like a piece of dirt - but the point is that the Infinite Spirit is contained in everything and absolutely anything and everything can serve as a doorway to the infinite if you allow yourself to look beyond appearances.

When you fall in love with someone, you do not judge the person and whatever faults the person may be experiencing, all that you know is that you love. You overlook all the shortcomings and you are only aware of love. At that moment you are aware of that which is Divine, even if it were clothed in mortal flesh.

Whether you choose an object or an individual or anything material, the love you express is putting you in tune with the source of all power, with One Infinite Spirit, One Divine Light expressing through everything, regardless of the form it may take. When you communicate with the Infinite, it will take the form of whatever you have chosen, based on your background, beliefs and experiences, to be Divine for you. Different people can have an experience of the same miraculous event, and each person will see a different form - at the same time - one may see an angel, one may see Jesus, one may see Krishna, or Shiva, one may see mother Mary, or some spiritual teacher or anyone else. The Divine Light becomes translated into the form or name we have ascribed to Divine. The form is then only a doorway to the infinite, a reflection of the infinite love, power and wisdom which reside in you, which in effect are what you truly are.

For many people it seems easier to believe that the love, power and wisdom they desire to experience are in someone or something else, rather than in themselves - and for a while, until they discover that they there is only One love, power and wisdom present in everyone and everything - they find it easier to direct their devotion and faith into someone or something external to them. For a while this external object or individual acts as a mirror of that love, power and wisdom contained in every speck of creation.

Eventually, when you experience the Divine Light, then you know that the whole is contained in every speck of creation - within and without, and you are able to be aware of the Infinite, of Divine in everything - recognizing the Divine in a grain of sand just as in yourself, in any face or in any circumstance.

If you need a lucky charm - whether you pick Lucky Wanga oil, or rabbit's foot, or an image of a saint, or a guru, or some deity, or angel, or even your own image - they will all work equally well if you let them act as doorways to the Infinite through which all the power of creation can flow into your life. Acknowledge the Divine Light in yourself and in all life and love it with all your being and you will walk in tune with all the good fortune in the universe.

Glory to the Divine Light which resides in you and in all life everywhere!
May you walk with love and may luck always be with you!

Develop Your Intuition

Honing your intuition can help you in making better choices in life because the more information you have about something, the better decisions you can make, the faster you may be able to reach your goals, and enable yourself to live more fulfilling life.

Intuition is defined as the power or ability of attaining direct knowledge or cognition without evident rational thought and inference. Intuitive knowledge is considered to be knowledge which cannot be gained either by inference or observation, by reasoning or past experience. As such intuitive knowledge is thought of as independent, original knowledge.

Many years ago I was in a coffee shop where I overheard a man having a spirited and very loud conversation with someone about the nature of intuition. He argued that intuitive knowledge is based on observational skills. While the information obtained through observational skills is excluded from the above definition about intuition, many times people do acquire tremendous amount of information purely through observation and then they appear to be "psychic". Many "fake psychics" simply rely on their observational skills. These skills are also known as "cold reading" and are employed by stage magicians.


Our subconscious minds register all information from our surroundings and most of that information is gathered outside our conscious awareness. When some of that information emerges in our conscious awareness, it may seem that it came from higher realms because we had no awareness of ever acquiring it consciously.


People who are working on developing their intuition often practice different ways of improving their observational skills. Honing one's observational skills is one of the essential skills in the practice of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), where you learn to pay attention to minute changes in skin color, pupil dilation, slight changes in lip size, referred to in NLP as "minimal cues". These skills come in very handy when people play poker, for example. Since poker players have vested financial interest in the outcome of the game, they pay attention to "minimal cues" of other players, in order to notice when other players may be bluffing or when they might have a winning hand.

NLP Practitioners sometimes engage in the following exercise, which I believe started with Dr. Milton Erickson. One person would hide an object, and the other would play the role of a "psychic" by holding the wrist of the person who hid the object. The "psychic" would rely on slight changes in the pulse of the person who hid the object, to guide him toward the recovery of the hidden object.

Some people are more "intuitive" by nature. Some are intuitive in a way that they find it easier to absorb the information from their environment through what seems like osmosis. They may have difficulty focusing on one thing and may be labeled with attention deficit disorder, yet their way of processing information may be perfectly suited to certain occupations. For example, I have a friend who is an extraordinary private investigator. He excels at what he does perhaps mainly due to his ability of being aware of the information that other private investigators miss. He naturally absorbs information from the environment as if thorough osmosis. From the perspective of brainwaves, people with this talent have predominant theta brainwave activity.

Some people are more naturally intuitive in a way that they can access the information related to different times, places or dimensions of experience, which are clearly not in any way associated with where they may be physically. On the level of the mind, there is no time and no space and we are all free to access the information about anything we greatly desire to know, from any dimension of existence, from past, present or future. The only obstacle in this process are the "filters" we have placed in our subconscious minds.

The secret in acquiring this kind of information is in allowing it to emerge into your conscious awareness, in having your mind blank, open and receptive like a crystal clear glass, so that the information gained is not colored by your preconceived ideas or emotions. Genuine spiritual masters, who have no more any self-interests, who have nothing more to emotionally protect and have fully opened themselves to the infinite, can access the information that to the rest of us borders on miraculous. On the other hand, there are so many people who may be "channelingl" the information from different realms, however the information that comes through is polluted by their own preconceived ideas and is no better than any guess they might have made based on their rational understanding. True spiritual knowledge is always rooted in love and in the principle of oneness - there are no exceptions.

We are all intuitive to a greater or lesser extent and whatever your level of intuitive ability, you can develop it further. Developing intuition is based on learning to pay attention to the information within you. For example, if you were trying to decide between two job offers, as you imagine yourself working in one position and then in the other, the right choice would look brighter, it woul feel more joyous, it would make you feel lighter and it would bring with it a great experience of inner peace and contentment. If you were picking lottery numbers or stocks in which you desire to invest, or winning horses at the racetrack - again through experience you would learn to distinguish between the information that comes from your intuitive knowledge and the one that comes from your rational mind. As a general guideline, when this information comes from your rational mind there is a sensation of tension, a sensation of your energy shrinking and condensing as you are subconsciously trying to protect your financial self-interest. When you are in a state of mind where you are trying to protect your ego-based self-interests, you are closing the door of your intuition. What opens you to your intuition is getting into a state of love, into a state of giving, into a state of relaxation and expansion, where you feel at-one-with-everything and particularly at-one with the subject of your intuition., where you become it inwardly.

One simple way of practicing intuition on daily basis is choosing for practice subjects in which you don't have any vested interest and the outcome is not important for you. This makes it easier for you to maintain an open state of mind necessary for practicing intuition. You may try to intuit what someone you are going to meet is wearing, or if the phone rings who may be calling you, or if you are going to some new place, try to intuit how does that place look like before you go there; or you can pick a magazine with pictures and try to intuit what picture or information will you find several pages ahead. In this way you will condition your subconscious mind to provide you with the information that is not ordinarily accessible to you through your physical senses.

Hypnotic Power of Music

Music is intimately related to the subconscious mind because it stirs our emotions. Perhaps you can recall listening to a jingle and finding the tune and the advertising slogan replaying in your mind over and over, even if you disliked the jingle. It just stuck in your mind.
Sometimes we may be consciously aware of the suggestions which are becoming impressed upon our subconscious minds. Many others times we may simply act unconsciously upon those suggestions - without any conscious awareness of why we feel propelled to act in a certain way. Big corporations spend billions of dollars on advertisements in order to create exactly that effect - to get you to purchase specific product or to act in a certain way.
Knowingly or unknowingly, all of us get affected by music we listen to. Here is one example from an email I have received:


"I want to tell you a story that you may find interesting. About two weeks ago whenever I walked on the streets, people would stare at me. I am not used to it, so at first I thought that there was maybe something odd about my outer appearance on that day. I looked in the mirror and there was nothing strange about either my clothes or my hair - I was totally normal. This lasted about a week - day after day. I must say that I was quite amused by all this, particularly because sometimes I would notice that these strange gazes were in fact gazes of admiration.

Later, however, I have discovered the possible cause of all this - a song. An ordinary pop song called "Superstar" by Jamelia. Basically, during that week I used to listen to this recording with my headphones while being engaged in other activities (such as working) sometimes without even noticing. One of the main phrases of the song which are repeated over and over again in the song are "You've gotta be a superstar, 'cause you've got eyes on you no matter where you are." My subconscious mind understood the lyrics literally and wherever I would go I "had eyes on me".

I later decided to stop listening to the song and noticed that gradually people stopped staring at me. Isn't it amusing?"

I suppose you can imagine what happens to people who listen over and over to music with words such as "I am a loser" and similar. Perhaps you want to pay closer attention to the lyrics of the songs you are listening to. It's also good to remember that when we watch TV, we are in a state of hypnotic trance and what we watch and listen to in that relaxed and entranced state does get into our subconscious minds to a lesser or greater extent - so you may want to choose your listening and watching menu wisely.

Another aspect of music, is the music itself. Some music helps you to feel more relaxed, some music makes your body move, maybe even dance, some music puts you into a sensual and lovemaking state of mind, while other types of music makes you feel unsettled or perhaps inspire you to engage in some form of combat or on a more positive note, jump up and plunge yourself into a vigorous physical exercise.

When you are practicing self-hypnosis without hypnosis recordings, you may want to pick some music that by itself elicits within you the emotional state that is most appropriate for the goal you are working on. The music does not have to be slow and relaxing - it may be quite energizing. If you feel like moving and dancing, rather than lying down, it is OK to use your body and dance your self-hypnosis outcome. There may also be times when you would prefer to relax into your self-hypnosis outcome, and there may be times when you feel more like getting into physical action. Rhythmic, repetitive movement is trance inducing.

One of the main reasons for using music for self-hypnosis is to help you maintain mental and emotional focus on your outcome. The music that helps to elicit within you emotions which are appropriate for your self-hypnosis outcome, will take care of the focus. Your intention can then ride of the wave of music, making focusing an effortless process.

If you are working on increasing sex appeal, the appropriate music would be the one that makes you feel sexy. If you are working on increasing financial abundance, the appropriate music would be the one that brings feelings and images of opulence and wealth. If you are working on healing, the appropriate music would be one that helps you to feel relaxed and peaceful, allowing your body to rest, regenerate and heal.

Two Worldviews

How you choose to look at a world will determine what you will be able to accomplish with hypnosis, because your perception will influence your belief system. How you perceive yourself and your relationship to the world will determine what will be possible and what will be impossible for you to accomplish.

Traditional (therapeutic) hypnosis emerged from obscurity and gained popularity in the west primarily through its acceptance by medical practitioners. Medical science, even as practiced today, is still based on the worldview which goes back about 300 years ago. It is the worldview of classical, Newtonian, physics, which looks upon the universe and the human body as consisting of separate parts, solid objects, which are just part of the machinery. We even use the metaphor of computer hardware and software to describe workings of the subconscious mind - but, there is one major difference between computers and subconscious mind: computers don't have feelings, desires and fears. Subconscious, on the other hand, is the realm of emotions. The supreme ruler of the subconscious is Love. Fear is that which creates obstacles and roadblocks, Love is that which opens the way.

A couple of centuries ago, Descartes made contribution to philosophy and science by suggesting that mind and body are entirely separate and have nothing to do with each other. Incredible as it may be, our modern medical science still firmly holds to this worldview. For a medical doctor, claiming that your mind is more powerful than your body, claiming that your mind can entirely restore the health of your body, that your mind can alter your body, may represent a professional suicide.

If you accept this limited worldview of classical physics which only applies to four dimensional objects (three dimensions of space and one of time), great many things which you could otherwise accomplish with hypnosis, will be simply impossible to accomplish, not because you do not already possess all that you may possibly need to express greatness, but because the worldview which you adopt will influence your belief system, your expectations and what you will allow yourself to experience, what you will feel comfortable to experience without shattering your belief system and your comfort zone.

You are not a robot, you are not an apple falling down from a tree, you are not a ping-pong ball. You are much more. Not only are you a multi-dimensional being, but you have the power and the ability to act from a higher dimension, from a dimension of your mind, from a dimension of your consciousness, and create changes in your physical reality. You are the one who chooses from which dimension you want to live your daily life. It only takes one little shift in consciousness, one little shift in perception to find yourself traveling along the highway of the future that may yet be beyond your wildest imaginings. I have had experiences that were far more wonderful and powerful than anything I could've ever imagined even possible for a human being to experience because I opened myself to them and allowed them to happen. And so will you, if you open your mind and your heart and allow yourself to be guided from within you.

The greatest treasure and the greatest power which many have been chasing in the outer world, are right within you. You don't need to fight for it or to chase it. You merely need to bring it out and use is consciously and intentionally every day. If you do, each day you will be able to accomplish greater and greater things. You owe it to yourself. Why in the world would you settle for a few crumbs you can find in the outer world, when you can create anything you desire from within you? The entire glorious road-path is already within you. You don't have to wrack your brains. You only need to bring it into your awareness. Why settle for a mediocre life, when you were destined to have an exquisite life?

I have been amused over the years at the reactions of those who would have experiences that don't fit in the worldview of classical physics - the worldview we use to separate what we consider "real" and toss out the window the rest as "unreal" because we don't have eyes to see it - yet rather than attempt to understand what made such experiences possible, they would just deny them and they'd keep on repeating - "yes, that happened, I have experienced it, but I still don't believe it, I don't believe that it is possible". And so do most other people. That which they don't understand, they decide that it's "unreal", "impossible", and often they project their own ignorance upon the rest of the world by boldly stating "nobody knows". And the reason I felt compelled to write this particular article is because many people in helping professions (and many hypnotists and hypnotherapists among them) are so unaware of the true power of the mind (it's a shame, really) and instead of teaching and helping people to unfold into greatness, instead of liberating people from limitations, they are binding them with more chains into powerlessness – by laughing at people's dreams and telling them that this or that is impossible. What kind of a favor is that and to whom?
I am also amused when I watch programs by "scientists" who seem to consider that something is alive only if it looks like them. According to the classical science, which we have been taught in school, something is considered alive only if it moves in some way and if you can perceive it with your physical senses or with equipment that has been invented up to date. There are many other things and beings very much alive and moving about, yet they reside on a different vibratory level, in a different dimension and some of them can shift their vibration enough to become visible to your physical senses or to become invisible. I have seen some of them and perhaps you have too. If there's anything strange to this, it's only how blind we can choose to be, or how ignorant or arrogant by pointing to our bodies and saying "that's the greatest thing in the universe". There's just more to us and to this world than what we call physical dimension, more than that which we can perceive with physical senses.
While the worldview of classical physics has contributed to the development of different sciences which relate to physical dimension of experience, it has taken life out of life. It has separated matter from that which gives it life. It has separated matter from the intelligence that governs it. In this worldview of classical physics you are practically a victim of circumstances, your fate and fortune depends on something outside of you over which you may have very little, if any, control. As a human being, you are essentially dis-empowered, left at the mercy of the circumstances and you are bound to feel very lonely and pretty scared because a possible danger lurks around every corner. When you adopt this worldview, life seems rather hard, you have to struggle and fight and buy a lot of insurance to compensate for any possible losses. If you haven't noticed, insurance doesn't protect you from losses, it merely provides, often inadequate compensation. Insurance feeds on and thrives on your fears. When you buy insurance, you are actively proclaiming your faith in fear and you're programming your subconscious with expectation of some disaster yet to happen. I am mentioning this just to bring into your awareness the fact that you program your subconscious mind not only with a few phrases you may repeat as affirmations or listen to daily through hypnosis or subliminal recordings, but with a way you live your life on day to day basis. The actions in your life are based either on love and trust or on fear. With your daily thoughts and actions you are constantly affirming your allegiance to Infinite Loving Power within you or to fear and powerlessness. Who do you trust? Who do you give the power to rule your life?
With the worldview of classical physics you get to live a life of fear, filled with an assortment of anxieties. Is it any wonder that so many people are stressed out of their minds? Is it any wonder that so many people are swallowing an assortment of pills, drugging themselves into oblivion and doing whatever they can think of to escape from it? With this worldview you live to survive, to win at any cost, because it is the survival of the fittest. With this worldview you get to fight against the entire world until you run out of fuel and you die from exhaustion, boredom or meaninglessness of such life. You get to play the game of the grand illusion, where you always feel that something is missing, but you don't know exactly what. You don't even care to look for what is missing, because most people out there will try to convince you that that is a "normal" life and the only thing you can do is accept it - because those who say so don't know any better than you do.

Then, there is another worldview - a worldview in which the entire universe is filled with a living, loving intelligent energy, with one life that connects everyone and everything. It is the worldview of quantum physics, of metaphysics, and the essence of all spiritual traditions. They may use different words, but they say the same thing.

In a life of every individual a time comes when they hit the place some call "the pits" - when something apparently so dreadful happens, that life doesn't seem to be worth living any more. It is one of the greatest blessings, because then the person has an opportunity to awaken to the fact that whatever he thought of the world before, whichever way he lived his life, doesn't work - and that nothing will change in one's outer reality until the person is willing to change from within in a radical way. If your worldview doesn't embrace all life, then you are living like a living dead - then no matter how many possessions you may have acquired, you have not learned what it means to live and feel alive.

Sometimes I get emails from people who wallow in self-pity. They wallow in self-pity because they have rejected life. They are sort of like black holes, going around and looking where they can find people upon whose life-force they can feed, like "energy vampires". They walk around always hungry and unfulfilled, because they are unwilling to see that to have life and fulfillment, to experience happiness, they have to give it first. Happiness is brought out from within, through sharing it. Getting out of self-pity and depression is the easiest thing to do. All it requires is that you go out and do something wonderful for someone else. That's how you bring wonderful things into your life, by bringing them from the inside out.

Everything in the universe is made out of this energy and your thoughts and emotions influence this energy. In the worldview of quantum physics, metaphysics and spirituality, you are not just another ping-pong ball, you're not a vegetable, you're not just a number, you're not just a statistic. You are a grand cosmic being. You are a creator. You create your reality with your thoughts. Quantum physicist will say "the Observer determines the outcome of the experiment", metaphysicist will say "energy follows thought and what you think you bring into manifestation". In this worldview you have the power to create whatever you desire, if you care to use your mind consciously and intentionally. If you don't care to use it, to cultivate it and develop it, to bring it out, you may just as well end up like a powerless vegetable. You were created with much greater destiny, you were intended to make a contribution, a positive difference in this world, you were created with a mission which is up to you whether you want to accept or reject.

Newtonian physics says - you are the effect of external circumstances and you are at the mercy of them. Quantum physics says - you are the cause of your circumstances, you are the creator of your circumstances, and therefore you have the power to change anything you desire to change simply by changing your thoughts.

You thoughts do not count as far as Newtonian physics is concerned, because, as I mentioned (in part 1), it was intended to study the movement of ping-pong balls and such, and therefore according to that worldview telepathy, remote influence, psychokinesis or altering your body are considered simply impossible - and if you choose to look upon yourself as just another ping-pong ball, the conscious and intentional use of the extraordinary abilities will remain close to impossible for you to accomplish, too.

And perhaps you're willing now to think back about the experiences in your life, and perhaps you can remember a time when you just thought about something and another person voiced that same thing, or when you heard the phone ring and you knew who was calling you before you even picked up the phone, or perhaps there was a time when you and the other person said exactly the same thing at the same time. These are not weird or unusual happenings - they are normal happenings because we are all interconnected - we are all part of one infinite life, we are all part of one infinite mind. Our bodies, though, are like miniature universes and each person and being is like a cell in this body. What we do to others, what we think and feel toward others, will reflect in our own bodies. If you feel resentment or hatred either for the circumstances in your life, or toward someone else, your own body will release poisonous chemicals that will make your body cease to function properly and begin to fall apart. That is why when you rejoice in the wellbeing, happiness and prosperity of another, when you bless the world, you are truly blessing yourself. When you feel love and gratitude for your own life and for the life of others, you are the one who benefits - on all levels of your being.

Once more - the universe, including your body, is made out of energy. Energy moves in circular motion and creates a vibration. Your body is a mass of energy that has a specific vibration. Your thoughts and emotions determine the vibration of your body. Your body appears solid only because your physical senses perceive certain vibratory frequencies as solid. You have the power to alter the vibration of your body with your thoughts and emotions. If you raise the vibration of your body to a frequency higher than what appears to be a solid object, you can pass through it, or if you prefer, it will not affect you, because you will be resonating at different frequencies.

If you cultivate thoughts and emotions of the highest vibration - love for yourself and for all life, all that which resonates at the lower vibration will pass by you and will not touch you. If there's anyone or anything in your life that is tormenting you, send them love and one of two things will happen - you'll either develop a harmonious relationship or they'll leave your life. Those who are temporarily still committed to low-life, to low vibration, simply won't be able to withstand the high vibration of love. By sending them love, I mean wish them happiness and wellbeing, see them as happy and content. No one who is truly happy and content will ever wish another anything bad. Truly happy and content person has only one wish for everyone else - may everyone be happy. If you need a reminder of how that feels - just think of a time when you were deeply in love with someone and when there was nothing else in your awareness other than love. When you looked at the world through the eyes of love, what could you have possibly wished for anyone else other than love, because nothing else existed for you.

If you adopt Newtonian worldview and hold onto the view that your body is solid and unchangeable, and you desire to create a radical change in your body, you'll have a very hard time. You'll be fighting against the wall that you have placed in front of you. There is absolutely nothing stopping you in altering your body, whether for the sake of improving health or for esthetic purposes, other than the beliefs which are primarily tied in to your worldview. It doesn't matter what genetic condition you may want to change. All that it takes to open the door to desired change is a shift in perception, shift in worldview. To create a change, you must be willing to leave behind the worldview of classical physics - it does not contribute to your wellbeing in any way. The only way that you will be able to create radical changes in your body is if you accept the fact that your body is an effect and that the cause is in your mind; that your body is neutral of itself; that it is made out of energy which re-arranges itself according to the pattern you establish with your thoughts.

Wouldn't you rather live in a world where there is nothing to fear because you know that your thoughts are creative, that your thoughts act upon the infinite ocean of energy and that as you focus your mind upon that which you desire to experience in your life, the energy will gather and take shape of that which you desire to experience, for your own pleasure and enjoyment? Wouldn't you rather live in a world where you know that you have the power to create anything you desire to experience, where nothing and no one has power over you, where you can happily co-exist with all life, where you have a perfect place, your own wonderful place under the sun and that you matter, that you are an important part of the puzzle that is called life - that your thoughts influence everything within you and around you, including weather? Wouldn't you rather live in a world where you are aware of your connectedness with all life, knowing that you never are and can never possibly be alone? Wouldn't you rather live in a world where you know that no calamity or disaster can strike you unless you create it with your thoughts first? Wouldn't you rather live in a world where you can never experience lack of any kind unless you have created it with your thoughts first?
These are not fantasy musings. These are facts which you can prove to yourself simply by playing with your thoughts, by first paying attention to what you have been thinking, what kinds of thoughts and emotions you entertain on daily basis and noticing how they have affected your life, and then creating what you desire with intention and focus. Focus means that you become so deeply absorbed in the experience which you desire to create that during the time you are focusing upon the idea you desire to bring into manifestation, nothing else exists for you. The only thing you allow to be present in your awareness is the experience of that which you desire to create in your life.

If it is abundance you desire to create then you spend an hour every day, focusing totally and completely on abundance. The form of abundance is not important. The feeling of abundance is what is important. How does it feel enjoying infinite abundance now? That's the only thing that should be present in your mind, in your emotions, in your awareness. Practice living your daily life with awareness that you are living and moving and having your being in an ocean of infinite abundance, allowing it to flow through you, through your life freely. That is easy to do. It merely requires willingness. Then, whatever leaves your life will not matter because you'll know that there will always be more coming your way, that whatever you desire to create and experience is as close to you as your next thought. Then, you will never again have to fear for your job. And by the way, you did not come into this world to have a job. You came here to create a miraculous life, so go and create something beautiful with your life. What would you like your life to stand for?

Here is, in short, how the process of transformation occurs from the perspective of quantum physics and metaphysics. Your thoughts act upon the energy of that which you desire to alter. Your focused thought raises or lowers the vibration - depending on what you desire to accomplish.

If you desire to create something, apparently out of nothing (there is no such thing as nothing - there is only intelligent energy, life-force), by focusing upon its manifested form, you lower the vibration until it becomes visible to physical senses.

If you desire to raise the vibration of something, imagine that something filled with, or made out of, light and love. Love and light are the highest common denominator / vibration of everything that is manifested. It's simple and straightforward. Focusing upon light and love will harmonize you with all Life, with Infinite Love, Power and Wisdom. Love and Light are the magic wand that will open all doors for you. Love and light will make possible for you to accomplish that which previously might have seemed impossible.

It is through your own experiments and experience that you'll get better acquainted with your creative power and in time you will be able to do more and more. If you desire to experience a radical change in your ability, then you must first experience a radical shift in consciousness - and to do so, you have to open yourself to it.

And always remember, the greatest treasure of the entire world is right within you. You may use all the tools and devices you like from the outer world to help you access the Infinite Power and Intelligence, but they are and always will be with you and within you. No human being can give you anything greater than that which was already given you, but some can help you to bring it out. Life was given you to create a wonderful, beautiful, unique, piece of art with it. No greater treasure will you find anywhere else. Love it and use it well.

The Power of Gratitude

Gratitude is not some mushy feeling. It is a powerful way of conditioning your subconscious mind for success. So many people focus on what they do not have and in this way further program their subconscious minds with the idea and feeling of lack and loss. And guess what? That is exactly what they keep on enhancing in their lives. In time, this turns into a habit of expecting lack and fearing loss. Some people then embark on a journey of looking for further proofs that life is a dreadful thing, filled with meaningless struggle, so they abandon all effort to make something out of it and begin acting in ways that actually invite more losses and dismal experiences. Then they wonder why they feel depressed.

Step 1

While gratitude does include saying "thank you" to others, it really begins within, by appreciating things, people and circumstances we may have taken for granted - even if all we have is the air that we breathe, food, clothing, shelter.

Perhaps you can think of some things that have been beneficial to you and which you might have taken for granted. If you stop now, for a moment, to appreciate what you already have in your life, you will already begin to feel happier and wealthier.

Step 2

More challenging for most people, is feeling gratitude for dismal experiences in our lives, for those people and situations in our lives that brought us even some pain and discomfort and in that way pushed us to challenge ourselves, to reach deeper within and discover incredible resources within ourselves, untapped powers we did not even know we had. Or perhaps they pushed us to develop some new skills, skills that have tremendously enriched our lives.
Maybe the skills we have learned have enabled us not only to emerge victorious out of our own struggle, but also to be of greater service to others.No one may be better equipped to help a person going through a challenging experience than someone who has already been there, experienced it, and knows.

Think now about some of your life experiences that you wished you did not have to go through at a time and consider what have you learned from those experiences, and how have they actually enriched your life.

The benefit of this new perspective of looking upon seemingly dismal situations from your past is that once you have learned what you needed to learn from your experiences, you would not have to go through them again - you will set them free, and you will be able to move on. You will feel lighter and happier. By transforming this emotional baggage, you will open new space in your life for new and wonderful things to come your way.

Step 3

Now, go one step further and think of all those things you would like to have in your life - feel how would you feel having them right now and express gratitude for them as if you already have them. Gratitude is the fastest way to draw those experiences into your life.


When you feel gratitude for something, you acknowledge that you have already received it. You program this desirable experience as your reality into your subconscious mind, you expect it to happen, you begin looking for proofs that it is a part of your life, you begin acting as if this is true for you now and you begin to experience what may be nothing short of miracles.


Remember that you program your subconscious mind by what you FEEL to be REAL for you NOW! When you express gratitude for something you would like to experience as if you already have it now, you acknowledge that this desired experience is REAL for YOU now, you CLAIM it as YOUR OWN and you open the way for it to come into your life! 5 Secrets of Successful Self-Hypnosis

1. KNOW WHAT YOU WANT

In this step you need to consider what you want vs. what you don’t want and you need to be able to distinguish between the form and the essence.

Instead on focusing on what you don’t want, it’ important to focus on WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE to experience instead, because your subconscious mind says “YES” to whatever you focus upon.

If you don’t want illness focus on perfect health, if you don’t want lack, focus on abundance, if you don’t want to experience stress, focus on experiencing peace, etc.

Sometimes people focus on the “form” - the physical thing - instead on the “essence” - the feeling they would like to experience. If you desire to create or attract a specific thing into your life, ask yourself what feeling do you believe this thing would give you. By focusing on the “essence” of what you want, you expand your options.

You may find that there are many other ways to experience that desired feeling even now, and by experiencing that feeling now, you further open yourself to attract the thing you desire.

Many times we chase certain things, only to discover that they didn’t give us the feeling we expected to get by having them. And even if the thing you originally had it mind does indeed bring you the desired feeling, this process may bring you further insight into many different ways to enrich your life, to open yourself to many different opportunities that will allow you to experience even more of that desired feeling.

2. CLAIM IT AS YOURS

Once you know what you want, imagine and FEEL that you already have it. Engage as many of your senses as you can and while in a trance state (in a state of hypnosis) vividly imagine yourself as if you are already enjoying the desired state, thing, circumstances. You may also re-live your life, in your mind, imagining that you have always had this resource, quality, thing you’d like to experience.

The whole point of the “depth” of hypnosis is to allow you to put your conscious mind and the awareness of the outer world aside, long enough that you are able to fully experience your desired experience as REAL for you NOW.

It is good to remember that your subconscious mind does not distinguish between what is outside of you - what you may interpret as “real” - and what you experience only in the realm of your mind. Your subconscious mind accepts as REAL whatever FEELS REAL to YOU … NOW.

3. CLEAR THE OBSTACLES

Successful self-hypnosis is very much alike planting seeds. You decide what you would like to grow, you plant the seeds by imagining and feeling that you already have the desired outcome. You don’t have to concern yourself with how is the plant going to grow – it is endowed with intelligence to fulfill its purpose. What you do need to do is pull out the weeds if you notice any.

When you plant seeds of your outcome in your subconscious mind, your doubts, fears, anxieties, conflicting beliefs etc. are weeds you have to uproot. If you believe that it is impossible for you to reach your goal, but you just want to try it, forget about it – it’s not going to work.

If the goal seems to overwhelming, cut it down into smaller, achievable goals – goals you believe are attainable for you now. It doesn’t matter what anyone else has accomplished. The only thing that matters is what you believe is possible for you. Other people’s accomplishments may inspire you – but whether you’d be able to accomplish the same, or less, or more, depends only on what you believe to be possible for you, and on the action you're willing to take.

Sometimes people look for “proofs” and assurance outside of themselves, asking other people for their opinions as to whether something is possible or not, yet this only tells their subconscious minds that they are still filled with doubt – they don’t really believe that they can experience the results they desire, so they usually don’t.

The best place to look for “proofs” when using your subconscious mind is in your own experiences – conducting your own experiments.

There is a way to get and create absolutely anything you may ever want to create through the power of your mind. However to overcome your own limitations you either have to have limitless faith, or even better, to do some research and gain understanding why YOU CAN be or have whatever it is you set your heart upon.

This also brings me to the POWER OF DECISION. If you have ever DECIDED to experience something and if you can recall how that feels, you may become aware that at such times your mind was fully focused on your GOAL and even though you might have been aware of possible obstacles on the road, they have not prevented you in reaching your outcome. When you truly DECIDE that you want something, you “cut yourself off” any other possibility and you COMMIT yourself to having the experience you desire.

You may be already familiar with a poem by Goethe:

Until one is committed
there is hesitancy,
the chance to draw back,
always ineffectiveness.

Concerning all acts of initiative
there is one elementary truth
the ignorance of which kills
countless ideas and endless plans:
That the moment one definitely commits oneself,
then providence moves, too.

All sorts of things occur to help one
that would never otherwise have occurred.
A whole stream of events issues from the decision
raising in one’s favor all manner of
unforeseen incidents and meetings and
material assistance which no man
could have dreamed would come his way.

Whatever you can do or
dream you can, begin it!
Boldness has genius, powerand magic in it.

4. LET GO AND TRUST

This is probably the hardest step for most people – and it may take some practice to totally and completely trust in the wisdom and power of your mind, universe, God, your Higher Self (pick the term you prefer) to be able to bring into your experience what you asked for.
You may notice that sometimes when you think about something and then you completely forget about it, not even giving it a second thought whether it’s going to pass or not – the thing you thought about, just happens. That’s because you have spontaneously let go – by forgetting about it, your subconscious mind was able to take over and create that experience in your life.

Other times you may feel that you want or need something really badly, so badly as a matter of fact, that you can’t let it go – and as much as you want it – you are not allowing it to manifest for you.

When something is really important for you to have and you have no idea where what you need is going to come from, trusting may feel as if you were walking on a tight-rope. With practice, it does get much easier.

Practicing gratitude – expressing gratitude for what you need and/or desire as if you have already received it will help you to get your mind off the worry, and keep it focused on your goal.

Gratitude will dramatically cut the time it takes to get what you desire, and it will dissolve a lot of obstacles toward getting the results you’d like to create using self-hypnosis.

You can thank your subconscious mind, your unconscious mind, God, universe – or whatever you like to refer to the power and intelligence within you and all around you that is able and knows how to bring into manifestation every one of your heart’s desires.

5. RECOGNIZE WHEN YOU GET WHAT YOU ASKED FOR

Sometimes what you ask for may come into your life in a slightly different form than what you envisioned. It is important to notice and acknowledge that what you asked for has in some form manifested for you.

Sometimes what you ask for may be even better than what you asked for (vividly imagined in self-hypnosis).

Sometimes what you ask for may be a far cry from what you wanted. It may be just a signal that what you asked for is on its way. Now is not the time to give up, but to keep on thanking that what you desire or even something better is on its way.

You may also want to re-examine your beliefs, doubts, worries, insecurities, feelings that you don’t quite deserve what you asked for, that it would be too good for you, or perhaps that after all, you don’t really want what you asked for.

Remember that your outer-world experiences only reflect what’s in your mind, so if you don’t like what you’re experiencing, all you need to do is change your mind about it. If you expect only the best in life, and keep on thanking your mind and the universe (God) for giving you the best, in joyful expectation of these experiences – your outer-world experiences will reflect this.

Acknowledge that everything that happens in your life is forever moving you toward the realization of your goals.
